Well, NOW ATN is back to version .185 as of today.... 7/25/18 What's up with that? Are we supposed to switch back? So confusing. :?:

I am still waiting for Optics Warehouse to get one, they want me to try it when it arrives, but this does not sound promising !!!!!

I e mailed ATN in the UK to ask when the 4K pro would be on sale here and they said August/September.

Cheers

Well I brought one of each 3-14 and 5-20, back from the states and so far I'm impressed.
Once you've updated to the latest firmware and spent some time learning the many settings, it is pretty good, one shot zero is excellent and easy.
Picture quality is excellent daytime and not far off the drone in night vision mode, I found choice of ir is important, after trying many I found the armasite one the best.
Interestingly there is no loss of picture quality even at 20 zoom.
Battery life is 18 hours on!, in hibernate after 1 minute of mode, it would be days.
Taking the 5-20 out tonight on a Tikka. 222 foxing, so more to follow, but so far 250 yards at night should be no problem.
Daylight picture is see a rabbit clearly at 300 yards.
Will post more.

When you say choice of i/r is important ? does this mean it can be too i/r sensitive (easily white's out) and you have to carefully balance the i/r power to prevent this ?
When you get the time it will be interesting if you can confirm its hold zero under all adjustments.

Will be interesting to see if it's any good, but i'm not holding my breath, it's worrying that you have to keep updating the firmware even before they are on sale, proof is in the pudding as they say, i hope i'm wrong.

Indeed gents, time will tell.
Two foxes on stubble last night, one at 90 yards, one at 140, picture after 150 yards not as good as the drone.
A butler creek no49 with a 12mm hole in the centre improves it quite a bit, so maybe the camera is too sensitive, this mod also gave depth of view.

Held zero out to 150 yards, which was as far as I tried it, at 5x,8x and 16x, best picture was at 8 or 10x.

All good so far, and for £530 in the states!

Will post more.
