Ward 800 built in DSA to short with correct eye relief

Postby David.evans » 02 Dec 2017, 18:42

Hi lads
Well I'm the proud owner of a s/h ward 800l , i have one big problem after trying to fit it to my 4/16 winder , with the correct eye relief, for my eyes any way ,
The locking nut on the 800 , sits bang on the locking wheel ,for the eye relief and is not a good secure fit when tighten up , and keeps slipping
Any ideas of how to get over this please

Hi Dave,

We do a bespoke shim for the sidewinder that should cure this problem for you.

Drop me an e-mail to mail@nvscopes.com with your address and I'll get one sent out to you.

Cheers

If that doesn't work use a rubber flip up scope cap cover converted and split. Its what I use and get a solid fit. Quite tight on the newer WDV body and Sidewinder, but I like.
