does anyone know where i can get a 5" monitor with about 840x480 resolution preferably with a flat back,any help will be appreciated looked on ebay but would rather buy 1 that somebody has tried out and knows they are good

oldish post I know,but did you get the screen,i got same screen from this seller and it wasn't what it stated resolution wise...........

also bought 1 resolution was not was what it was supposed to be also had problems with the picture going on and off on its own started to pull the back of them came back on so going to have a look to see if i can sort it out as i have hard wired it so warranty void

I've got one and another similar one (with a silver edge from china).

Both appear to have good res, much, much, much better than the ?320 *240? res on another that I have.

If you've found that the resolution is less than 800*480, I'd love to know how?

If you put a 320x240 and an 800x480 side by side with them both showing the same image it's easy to tell which is which.
if you want to get tecchy - get out a magnifying glass and count the number of pixels in a given distance on both screens.
