IR pass filter removal !

Post by marcos58 » 17 Apr 2013, 20:32

Hi All ,

I see IR pass filter removal on 1/3 ccd board cameras
has raised from the grave ! I seem to remember posts
on the forum showing some improvement of night vision
with a good chance of damage to certain cameras ?
Some chap on YouTube ( b4ger731) seems to have found
the solution !

when asking for advice, please include what n.v device and/or illumination you already have (if any) and what rifles you intend to use them on...cheers

Could you link to the video you mean, he's got over 100 on there and the titles don't give much away.
Thanks, G

i'd be intrested to the 'some dont work' bit.. if theyre whiting out its add a filter or use an iris.. or change the focal distance.

and ermm.. i know a few will be thinking it so i'll say it.. is th other nv unit the same camera ir removed...

edit..ahh yup awaiting the next vid.
'who is that masked man? its the kemosabby der..the bloody injun tells you every week!'
