big thanks to all for the help

Post by Hardtail » 20 Feb 2016, 15:11

Hi just a big thank to this forum for helping me make my night vision kit and ive now finished my two add ons for me and one for a gift to my friend and my spotter which ive finished today ,ive used ians e700s in all and the t20 as pills running 2 18650 for the monitor and camera giving just under 7hrs runtime and a single 18650 to power the ir on each unit ,originally the voltage display was fitted to monitor 3 18650 battreys and use a step down to power the ir but was told it would cause interferance so decided best to split the battreys ive also added primary filter gel to the screens as i find it much nicer in the dark on the eye overall im very happy indeed with how they perform and just though id pop a few pics of the finished units up thank again tim

Very tidy work there. How are you accessing or charging the 18650's?

Thanks guys for the comments ,as for the charging for now im just going to unscrew the front to access the battreys but it will only really be the ir one ill need to change as ive ran 5 tests on the two battrey for the monitor and cam and getting over 7 hours run time on those ,wish i could have fitted a stepdown for the ir but never mind ,i didnt want to fit a charging module inside for the battreys as i prefer to charge them on an intellegent charger .

Really nice builds, you've obviously put a lot of attention into the detail as well as the function
