Falcon M18+

Post by AirRifleSport » 03 Apr 2017, 23:12

Has someone in this forum come across or used a Falcon M18+ 4-18x44 FFP with a nightvision setup?
I would love to know if it's any good.

Yes i have used one of a mates for a short period of time.
The performance with n/v is very good, its also IMO a good day scope as well.
It was used with a "Wardy 700", this has a 12mm lens in it, the only problem it has is if you need reading glasses to read you wont be able to get the cross hairs bold enough choose what adjustment you make, i would think "ANY" n/v that use's a 16mm lens (Wardy 800 L) with be perfect.

Thanks for that, Dave.
Unfortunately there isn't a shop near me that deals with these scopes, for me to check them up.
For what I have seen on YouTube it is not a bad scope. Just wondering how it would compare against the Hawke sidewinder.

At that price, having a First Focus Plain reticle is very tempting, I can take advantage of it using it with my new air rifle. It would be great to be able to zoom in on the quarry without changing the original POA.

If you pm "hussar" on here, he has had the sidewinder 4-16x50, and still has the m18, he also use's a "Wardy 700"-------i'll have a guess and say he would recommend the m18 out of the two.

Thanks Dave, I have just sent a PM to hussar, with a few questions.
