Hello from Philippines

Post by tammins707 » 05 Aug 2013, 14:15

Hi to everyone,

My name is Kynth, I'm from Philippines.

I was led in this forum when I searched about NV in youtube and saw the videos of Rolaids and the other guy which also a member here.

I'm not really into NV, but when I saw those videos of hunting rats, oh man, I was really intrigued! During the season of 2010, I saw the damaged caused by rats in the cornfields here in my place. So, I want to be prepared next time.

There are a lot of questions in my head regarding the build, especially illuminator and laser, but I guess I need to read a lot.

Above all, I want to thank all the people here for the ideas, infos, and help they shared. It helps a lot and I wish I can also repay the site someday! God bless everyone!

Polite, friendly posting is about the only payback most of us can give. It looks like you are off to a good start. :)
You will need to add your location to your profile, its a forum requirement.

Hello Kynth and welcome to the forum.

Lots of ideas on here for you to try out. There's no need for payback, but photographs of your build are compulsory 8-) . We like a bit of show and tell

Thanks for the welcome.

I am still in the process of accumulating all infos that I can get. Also, I want to send a message to the guy who got those unique flashlight, lol, I mean illuminators!

Another one, is it ok to buy a riflescope here in the forum, used ones? Is it ok to send it to my country? I want to be safe because in the US, they won't allow it. There's some that's very tempting but I'm afraid unless its safe. Thanks again.

I hunt wild pigs in the forest, especially when they start to be a nuisance in the rootcrops of the farmers. I hunt monkeys when they attack the corn. And this one, you might not believed, I hunt fruit bats when they attack the fruit trees, especially the "lanzones and rambutan" they're very tasty and swarm of bats will likely attack it at night.

I used to hunt these bats at night using a flashlight but success is not that good. That's why it feels wonderful when I saw what you people have done! Man, its amazing!
