A few new additions from PARD.
Looks like a night vision and a thermal clip on, however both have the familiar PARD NV-008 mounting bracket on the bottom so they might be both a dedicated and a clip on?
User manuals don't seem to match up with the devices, so its difficult to get the specs

Re: PARD new additions
Paul,
Great find - thanks very much!
Looks like there will be 6 models
FD1, FD2 and FD3 each with or without an LRF
The pics only appear to show a non LRF NV model with the objective lens, IR illuminator and battery housing visible
I agree that the mounting holes on the underside and what appears to be a removable front add-on adaptor would indicate that there is potential for making this a dedicated scope
Could this be the replacement for the old model 008/008 LRF and the current model 008S/008s LRF ?
Cheers
Bruce

Re: PARD new additions
It's a pity they can't sort out the scope models they have out at the moment! Before bringing more out and if there using the same technology/units for the lrf as is on the 008slrf and the DS then a lot of them will be found wanting
Re: PARD new additions
You clearly don't understand how product marketing works
You come out with a new product that you claim to be better than your previous offerings and people will buy it to get away from the problems of the old model
Also, people like new toys

Re: PARD new additions
The user manual is all over the place!
The title says it is for the FTR34 (LRF) - which appears to be a thermal monocular
However, the "Key features" section repeatedly refers to the TA32 and TA62 series of thermal devices already on sale.
The specification states that the objective lens is "all glass- multi coated" -mmm, that''ll work well in the thermal
From the photos in the "user manual", I'd say the new body shape and style could be used as is shown in the manual as a spotter, but could easily become a dedicated scope with the attachment of a mount like that used in the current 008, or by removing the eyepiece and fitting a scope adaptor become a front add-on as per the pics in Anthony's original post
The photos in the "Components and Controls" section of the user manual are also inconsistent with the first pic clearly showing a battery cap, objective lens and what could either be an IR illuminator or a white light torch/spotlight
The 4th pic show an objective lens, LRF module and what could be an IR illuminator or white light torch/spotlight - but no sign of a battery!!!
Cheers
