New to site. Having a nv008 issue

Post by shanemorgan » 05 Jun 2022, 04:56

Hi everyone.
New to this site. Just wondering if any one can help me or tell me why the pard nv008 lfr freezes up.
I was out hunting and all buttons stopped working other than the main on/off, sleep mode was not available either.
Gyros all stopped working as well. I have heard it's a cold temperature thing. Can anyone confirm and is there a way to stop this from happening.

Thanks in advance

Welcome aboard

I don't know but I'd bet the fix is to roll the dice with a firmware update.
Be surento get someone to confirm the correct firmware first though

Have you tried it when it has warmed up a bit?
If it works then, just switch the gyro function of in the main menu and that should prevent it freezing up again.
As Sunndog says check which version of the firmware you're running and find out if there is a newer version available.

OK, let me make sure I understand you
1. The PARD works OK when warm - and that includes having the gyroscope function switched on
2. In cold weather the all the buttons stop working
So, if you switch the gyroscope function off in the main menu and then take it out in cold weather do the buttons work?

Cheers
