Re: Metal detector for sale

Be all them hmr cases next to ( well 1000yds ) wabbit remains, and red bull ring pulls, that the younger generation aspire too! I even pick HMR cases up, or try to get as many as possible up. Is it only me then that doesn't leave anything littering the fields ? Good on ya. I try and...

Re: NV spotter/rangefinder for sale

Use mine with a T38 AS and can range and see treelines at 500yds +. Initially thought it was crap ( no distance and very grainy ) until I turned up the brightness to approx 45/46 on the unit - what a difference!!!! Can easily see and range foxes to 300 yds +. Wouldn't be without mine now as very ha...

Re: NV spotter/rangefinder for sale

Ok so i popped out for a quick ten minutes (sheeeeet its cold out tonight) just with the basic unit and a T20, I was quietly surprised at how good it is. It is hardly going to set the world alight in terms of out and out clarity but the distance that is possible, along with the benefit of being able...

Re: NV spotter/rangefinder for sale

Go on then, if you still want to sell it I'll take it. The range finder will certainly be handy at night. Pm me with payment details. Hi Sorry to be an absolute PITA. I am going to check to see tonight how far I can extend the range using some more IR due to what the guys said above. I will post so...

Re: NV spotter/rangefinder for sale

Hmmm, food for thought. Maybe I will take it out with an IR torch later to see if it would be any good for spotting foxes out to a coupla hundred yards. I was considering getting a thermal but buying another IR torch would be considerably cheaper. They don't mind red glows in my area.

NV spotter/rangefinder for sale

Any questions just shout but hopefully pics will be self explanatory. Used a handful of times but I no longer shoot rabbits at night at rimfire ranges, so this is surplus to requirements. These units have been covered on this forum. They are no good for long range spotting (although I have not tried...

Re: Metal detector for sale

Always makes me chuckle that the same old hobbies get intertwined. I've never had a gold coin but had gold rings and dozens of hammered coinage, roman stuff, saxon coins and artefacts etc. Yet to find any celtic but i do have an early Medieval solid gold intaglio seal matrix (12th cent) going throug...

Re: Metal detector for sale

I've just bought a Safari so my trusted minelab xterra 705 is up for sale. It comes with the standard double D coil and a Nel tornado coil. Also included is a control box cover. £400 G GLWS, i do plenty of detecting myself with an XP Deus. Not been out for a month or so due to shooting and fishing ...

Re: Sightron stac 2.5-17.5x56

Been ummming and ahhhing about one of the new 40mm STAC's but if the price is right, I might consider the larger objective lens. Can you confirm the reticule type and what price you are looking for pls.
