Who dials in the dark :lolno:
Holdover every time
And with an FFP scope so that you don't have to think about what magnification you're at

Re: Ward 800L and nightforce scopes.

High mag scopes and NV add-ons are not a good combination. The Ward has some magnification so that will be multiplied to whatever magnification your scope is set at. You 3.5-15 x56 will do a much better job. The exit pupil on your 8-32x56 at x8 is 7mm The exit pupil on your 3.5-15x56 at x3.5 is 18mm...

Re: Which Thermal Unit

Unless the ITAR rules change, then you're right - it will never be available here (legally!!)
That particular model with the 60mm lens and 640x480 12 micron sensor is IMHO, the best commercially available thermal scope at the moment.

Re: Realistic battery life Pulsar

The battery pack supplied with the Helion is an IPS5 (5000mah)
They also do an IPS10 (10000mah) and a 10000mah power bank (PB81)
full specs here http://www.pulsar-nv.com/upload/iblock/ ... 10_web.pdf
The battery does not discharge when the unit is switched off.

Re: Drone Pro etc cables

Fizz, The Wardy plugs I have are 90 degree, but they are in silver, not black unfortunately. When I get them they come the "wrong way round" i.e the cable connector is female rather than male. To solve this problem I buy panel mount male connectors, do a bit of surgery to remove the contacts from ea...

Drone Pro etc cables

There are regular requests for cables to fit the Drone Pro and other NV kit such as Pulsar thermals and Ward thermal scopes. Since I now have a source for the relevant matching connectors, I've decided to offer a service making cables to suit individual requirements. I will be able to make cables fo...

Re: ADDONIGHT

I'm not defending Clive. I bought an Addonight from CRS and not a Warden Adder from Clive. However, anything that contains a laser is potentially dangerous and should have some form of warning attached to it. Failure to have such a warning is taken very seriously by Trading Standards and lack of suc...

Re: ADDONIGHT

I think he's referring to the inbuilt visible (red) laser (not the IR illuminator)
There may or may not be laser warning labels on the units depending where you buy from.
