Re: pulsar n970 lrf out of focus

Hi I have the n970 lrf. It can seem out of focus when it's slightly misty or foggy, try a doubler on the end, makes a huge difference, as does a decent it torch.

Re: Pulsar lrf 970 or ward 8ool

I'm also thinking of selling mine, it's still under warranty and about 4 months old, comes with battery pack, the new one, low mounts and doubler, might even throw in my ir 20 with mount.

Re: Pulsar 970lrf review

But like villaman says... don't even bother using the built in Ir, you might as well wear sunglasses whilst shooting at night ..
Get a decent ir and it's a whole lot better.

Re: Pulsar 970lrf review

Well I'd say the pulsar lrf is miles better, purely for the fact it has the built in range finder which helps no end.

Re: Pulsar 970lrf review

As villa man says, I have the 970lrf. Comparing it to villamans 870 lrf with Sony doubler, I have a similar doubler there's nothing in it with regards to picture quality. The only thing that lets it down is that it starts at 3.5x where as the 870 if I'm right starts at 4.5x . So pulsar has gone back...

Re: Pulsar Sightline

Hey villa man. I'd invest in some glasses first, you might be able to see where your shooting. :D
