Re: Low end scope for add on

Like the first response, I also use a nikko stirling LR Diamond 4-16x50 but on my HMR which I also use for night time bunnies. I actually bought the scope initially as a cheapo compromise, as I wanted open but low profile turrets for proper long range mucking about in benign conditions so I could st...

Re: Moderator options for .22WMR

Another vote for the Wildcat Panther. Awesome on my .17 and being honest pound for pound it is better than my CF mods.

Set up an Imgur account for pic hosting. Much better than Photobucket IMO and quicker too

Re: High end scopes with wardy add on

I don't think any of the "big 3" (Swaro, Zeiss, Schmidt and Bender) make a scope that parallaxes below 50m March and IOR do have scopes that parallax down below 10m, but someone has already said that their March is poor with IR I haven't heard from anyone who uses an IOR with a rear add-on I fancy ...

Re: Diffrent scopes - different views through add on rigs

Christ that makes my skin crawl. Takes me back to my late 90's Pig Farm ratting when we first started getting in to multi shot PCP's and those terribly overpriced Gen 1 scopes. We used to hand pump that S410 up more than once a night. Never did seem to make a dent in the population. They bred as fas...

Re: Recommend an optic scope for NV add on?

OK now I understand why you are struggling. The scope you have does not have adjustable focus/parallax. It will be set (probably to 100yards I suspect) The knob that you are twiddling on the ocular bell (the bit you look through) is the diopter adjustment. This merely adjusts the focus of the reticu...

Re: Recommend an optic scope for NV add on?

For me (and assume most) scopes become more focus fussy as the mag range increases. When using Digi NV add ons with an Optical Day Scope, it is best (IMO) to use a fairly lowish mag, depending on the range you are shooting at obviously. For rabbits with a rimfire for example, I never go over say 5 o...

Freshly shot rabbit works for me. Sit tight, they cannot resist.

Re: Recommend an optic scope for NV add on?

I have just got a new Delta which I will put through its paces on a variety of guns before passing proper judgement but initial thoughts are very very good so far. I should be able to try it with NV later this week/weekend. Anyhow, that is probably not in your ballpark mentioned but a rifle I have b...
