Re: Some bloke battery/monitor boxes clearout bargains Photo Heavy

I have found a spare bag of latching 'push on push off' very quiet switches in my parts drawers so I can supply two with any part-build box assembly sold. Part built integrated torch spotter . I drill the holes with a pre set jig - so they will have to be in the positions shown. http://img.photobuck...

Re: Noobie just landed.

Hi Baz, welcome to the forum. An evening going through the forum to see what ideas appeal with tea every hour on the hour will drop more than a few build ideas on you. If you dont have much in the way of tooling handy I have some part builds and helpful bits in the sales section that I'm clearing ou...

Going through a rarely used parts drawer yesterday: I still have some DSA's I had made for MTC Mamba scopes - and some less refined friction fit slide on DSA's that can be...

Re: QwikFit Add On rigs - no longer available.

That's it folks, I'm bumping this in case anyone is hanging on before ordering one as a Christmas present: I'm out of Day Scope Adaptors and can't justify tying up pension funds on another batch. If anyone is likely to be selling theirs, please feel free to link to this thread if it helps in any way...

Hiya Mr. Fox, Welcome to the forum bud, can't answer your question because I've not used such extravagant amounts of IR and am never likely to: Being well known for prefering as much as is needed rather than as much as I can get. 8-)

Re: Hi another newbie

Thank you for that Some Guy. My scopes are either Zeiss Victories or a Swarovski X5i so I doubt they will be add on friendly. My thnking was if I have to buy a scope to suit an add on I may as well buy dedicated NV scope and not be wanting to upgrade soon after initial purchase. Works for me, espec...

Re: Hi another newbie

Hiya, welcome to the forum Mike. You are correct about focal range almost always needing a scope to focus a lot lower then 50 yards to focus an add on in infra Red lighting, and the lens coating reputation was an issue when we had earlier IR performance limitations. (And this is coming fro...
