Best one to date in red was/is an sst 90 driven at 9 amps ! Hell of abeam , need a bigggggg battery though, great for foxing, the White sst also is something to behold ! Through a 75mm aspheric.....

Clive, you may want to build some with red/orange Crees, throw further than red, built a few, and a few people prefer them to the red Crees, just a thought......

D.S.A day scope adapter ! How you fix the camera to the back of your scope, ie rubber tubing ( naff ) , cobra/pulsar dsa, very good but expensive, most cobble up a dsa from floplast plumb fittings, cheap & cheerful, and works. Parrallax or a/o on front/side of scope to help focus the camera pict...

Depending on what lens you use, will give you a slightly different sight picture, lets go for a 16mm lens, firstly i set up my scope as i would use in the daylight and leave alone, fit lens to cam, switch on , take it your using a screen, roughly focus across a room, offer up the cam to rear of scop...

Realistically, shoot to 120-50 yds with a 50 mm lens comfortably , get a single cell one, 2 cell ones tooooooo long ! A T67 will give you 200 plus but will look like a postage stamp image size ! And dont forget the t67 is a bit of a beast , also a consideration is the torch mount ! People love the N...

When the led is fully focused it produces a square of light , the t67 lens combined with the small red led size , will produce a laserlike tight beam, good for distance but the square of light isnt big, so limits your field of view, on a 50mm lens combined with a red led will give you a larger squar...

Thing is you got to think of the usable image size of the led fully focused , the t67 will give you a tight beam, alright in white with a larger die size but in red be a lot smaller, be really tight looking through the scope.A decent 50mm lens works well with a red led , give you plenty of legs to 1...
